Welcome to Ice & Fire Works, a division of Geektuality.  This website is dedicated to historic documentation for skin care, period-appropriate products for re-enactors, custom artwork, frames, medieval gardening tips, and more.  Ice & Fire represents the yin and yang of Kryssie Mackey and Ken Barnard, a husband and wife team known in the Society for Creative Anachronism by names of Batu Sechen Tsagaan and Geiri Smiðsson.

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is a non-profit organization that focuses on pre-1650 BCE recreation.  There are links at the bottom of the website for more information on the SCA, Kingdom Caid, and several baronies and shires within Caid that are close to Sechen and Geiri.  You will also find a calendar of events where Sechen and Geiri may be found.  If you want more information about a particular event or have questions regarding how to attend or what to do, do not hesitate to e-mail us!  We would love to see you.

The shop is currently being remodeled and updated to bring you quality products for re-enactment.  We do commissions and custom orders, as well, so if there is something you do not see listed on the website for sale, then please e-mail us and we will let you know if we can create what you would like, and how long it will take us (I mean, we can’t create a yurt over night, you know).  From the Lab… is the title of our blog.  Once we figure out what happened to all the previous posts before converting our blog to its own site, we will have more historic documentation for you to read and peruse.  There are a few entries, currently, but they are limited in scope and words (read Sechen’s bio to learn why).

Thank you for stopping by! If you’d like more information about the artists, please follow these links to their bios: Sechen & Geiri.
